Week 1 – Day 2

Your Progress Compass + Aligned Goals

Today we bring in a simple structure that helps your body and subconscious relax into natural fat burn. We’ll choose a Progress Compass (efficient and compassionate biofeedback) and create aligned goals (clear intentions that come from what you truly want deep inside, free from pressure of limiting beliefs, someone else’s expectations or fear-based standards created by dieting industry and emotionally unwell culture).

Think of this as setting your navigation before a calm drive. When your mind knows where you’re going and your body feels safe, the whole system cooperates.

Start with appreciation

Place a hand on your heart. Take one easy breath.
Silently say: “Thank you, body, for carrying me this far.”

Appreciation is not fluff. It’s safety. When your body feels safe, it lets go more easily—tension, water weight, old coping patterns. Safety opens the door for change.

Your Progress Compass (keep it light)

Most programs drown people in tracking. We won’t do that. We’ll choose just two signals to guide you—one body-based and one life-based. These are like a weather report. Useful information. No drama.

Choose one from each list:

Body-based

  • Weekly scale trend
  • Waist or thigh in cm
  • Clothes fit (looser/tighter)
  • Morning energy (0–10)

Life-based

  • Mood after meals (calm/tense)
  • Sleep quality (0–10)
  • Digestion (comfortable/uncomfortable)
  • Kept one promise to myself (yes/no)

Write your two choices in your journal. These are your Compass signals. We’ll look at trends over time, not single blips.

What “aligned goals” mean here

Aligned goals are different from “fix-it” goals. They don’t shame you. They don’t come from a voice that criticizes. They come from your real want—that steady inner yes in your chest or belly.

When a goal is aligned, it does four helpful things:

  1. It calms your nervous system (no inner fight).
  2. It gives you better questions to ask each day.
  3. It invites creativity when things get hard.
  4. It feels natural to act “as if” it’s already true.

We’ll create your aligned goal in a few simple steps.

Create your aligned goal (simple flow)

A) Feel the want.
Say your goal out loud in one sentence. Notice your body. Do you feel a quiet yes? Or tension?
If you feel tension, soften it: “What do I actually want here?” Try again with simpler words.

B) Name the need behind the want.
Ask 2–3 times: “What’s the need behind this?”
“Lose 6 kg” might become: “I want to feel light, calm, and confident in my body.”

C) Choose one principle.
A principle is how you will be as you move toward the goal.
Examples:

  • “Kindness over pressure.”
  • “Nourish before numb.”
  • “One promise a day.”

D) Write your North Star (present tense).
Short, clear, steady:

  • “I live light and calm in my body.”
  • “Meals leave me energized.”
  • “I keep one promise to myself daily.”

E) Add two guiding questions.
Good questions keep you moving without force. Pick two that you’ll use all week:

  • “What would a light-and-calm choice look like here?”
  • “What is the kind next step?”
  • “How can this meal leave me energized?”

F) Pick 1–3 dashboard metrics.
This is your data view—not identity. Use your Compass signals and, if you like, add one more (sleep score, steps, or after-meal calm).
Remember: these are signals, not grades.

G) Live as if (now).
Act today like your North Star is already true.

  • Plate dinner like someone who ends meals energized.
  • Speak to yourself like someone you respect.
  • Walk like someone who cares for her body.

H) Gentle review rhythm.

  • Nightly, 20 seconds: “One thing I did well. One next step.”
  • Weekly, 5 minutes: Look at your Compass. Adjust anything that feels off.

Keep this whole flow friendly and light. If something stresses you, simplify it.

Why this approach works (plain and practical)

  • When a goal matches your real want, your body doesn’t fight you.
  • Clear questions focus your mind on simple actions.
  • Acting “as if” teaches your nervous system the new identity faster.
  • Metrics as signals keep you calm and consistent.

We’re not forcing change. We’re creating conditions where change feels natural.

Examples (to make it real)

Example 1

  • North Star: “I live light and calm in my body.”
  • Principle: “Kindness over pressure.”
  • Questions: “What’s the kind next step?” “Will this dinner leave me energized?”
  • Metrics: weekly weight trend + after-meal calm (yes/no).
  • Live as if: Start dinner with a big water-rich base (salad/veg) before anything else.

Example 2

  • North Star: “Meals leave me energized.”
  • Principle: “Nourish before numb.”
  • Questions: “What would nourishing look like right now?” “How can I end 80% full?”
  • Metrics: clothes fit + afternoon energy (0–10).
  • Live as if: Put fruit/veg on the plate first, pause 3 breaths before the first bite.

Example 3

  • North Star: “I keep one promise to myself daily.”
  • Principle: “One small win a day.”
  • Questions: “What is one promise I can keep today?” “Did I keep it?”
  • Metrics: kept promise (yes/no) + mood at bedtime (0–10).
  • Live as if: Choose a tiny promise now (e.g., 5-minute walk, or phone-free first 10 minutes of breakfast).

Today’s practice (simple and doable)

  1. Pick your Progress Compass
    • One body-based + one life-based signal. Write them down.
  2. Write your North Star + principle
    • Short and present tense + one sentence for your “how.”
  3. Choose two guiding questions
    • Put them on a sticky note where you’ll see them at meals or bedtime.
  4. Set 1–3 dashboard metrics
    • Keep it friendly. If a metric stresses you, pick a gentler one.
  5. Live as if (one move today)
    • Example: Start dinner with water-rich plants. Or pause three breaths before first bite. Or speak one kind sentence to yourself in the mirror.
  6. Nightly 20-second review
    • “One thing I did well today.”
    • “One next step for tomorrow.”

Keep it light. We are building rhythm, not rules.

When doubts show up

  • “I don’t feel the want.”
Ask the need behind the want. Try simpler words. Your body will tell you when it’s a yes.
  • “Metrics make me anxious.”
Switch to softer signals like clothes fit or after-meal calm. Review weekly, not daily.
  • “I slipped.”
Say: “I was tired and reached for comfort. That’s okay. What’s one supportive thing I can do next?” Then do that one thing.

What you’re anchoring this week

  • Progress is gentle feedback, not judgment.
  • My worth isn’t measured by numbers.
  • My goal comes from what I truly want.
  • Good questions and small kind actions carry me forward.

Anchor phrase (say it out loud)

“My goal is aligned. My questions are clear.”
